Hello Vancouver, BC!

Myself and my mister are coming to you at the end of March.  Suggestions?  I like nature, science, animals, art, books, vegan food, oh and inexpensive places to sleep.  Also, we don’t have a car, how is the public transportation?

  1. bradjunswick said: oh and don’t go to capilano, they charge for the bridge. go to lynn canyon park instead. their suspension bridge is free, and there is also an ‘ecology centre’ there. i’ve never been inside though.
  2. cjaustin said: Public transit is pretty decent. Check out the Vancouver aquarium. Take the seabus to North Van and then take the bus towards Grouse Mountain. Get off at the Capilano suspension bridge, walk across, hike to the dam, and then go up Grouse Mountain. :)
