Since I decided not to continue my 52 weeks of self portraits, I haven’t taken very many photos at all! However, this allows me to take photos when I feel like it and when I am inspired. Maybe I’ll try to take one once per month, since I still like the format and having this record of the year.

So this is my January-ish post. So far this month has mostly been school. I am taking cell biology and my second term of statistics. It’s such a relief to be done with chemistry. Cell biology is difficult so far, but mostly because of the volume of terminology that I have to learn. I took my first midterm, tomorrow I find out how I did. I think I just really need to immerse myself in this class. I was looking at all of the classes I have left to take and they are all exciting things like evolution, vertebrate zoology, invertebrate zoology, ornithology, general ecology, etc. The most difficult obstacle in school for me right now is that I know as a science major who is not premed or anything like that, that I should really be getting to know my professors. I am really not a social person, so this makes me nervous. But I will need to know these people for letters of reference and if I want to do an internship. Blablabla, why can’t I just work with animals and not have to deal with people? I hope you all are well!
